Since I have some time, I check out the weapon shops. I don't have enough money to buy weapons right now, but I'd like to get some eventually.
Normally, one would have a main weapon and a small weapon like a dagger as a backup. If one weapon is damaged during battle, the other is left unarmed.
However, carrying two large weapons is not possible in terms of space and weight. Therefore, it has become common practice to have a light, handy second weapon that doesn't take up much space.
However, this doesn't apply to me. I can carry a total of six types, three for male form and three for female form, without considering size or weight.
I really feel that the [dress-up doll] is a cheat. And on top of this, I even have the [lost house], I wonder how much the god-sama of this world expects from me.
"I told you it was a sword from the dungeon. It's so unreasonable for it to be priced so low!"
"You're the only one who said it was from the dungeon, aren't you? Since there's no guild appraisal, we'll have to treat it as an unknown sword."
Looking towards the noisy voices, it seems that an explorer who got a sword from a treasure chest in the dungeon has come to sell it. However, he doesn't seem to like the selling price and is complaining.
"It's a big gamble to buy a sword that might have negative effects. If you don't like it, you can just sell it at the guild."
"Tch, I'm never using this store again!"
The explorer said a cliché line and stormed off with the sword. The people around looked at the clerk with sympathy.
There are skills to appraise weapons, armor, and tools, as well as magical tools. Magical tools are available in each guild and are used when purchasing or receiving an appraisal request.
However, expensive magical tools are rarely sold in regular stores, and those with appraisal skills are rare, so they are often taken by large corporations or public institutions that offer better conditions."
If you have an appraisal certificate issued by the guild, they will buy it back based on its performance, but there is a fee for issuing the appraisal certificate. As such, some explorers try to sell items without it.
I pull myself together and look at the weapons. A one-handed sword and a shield are standard equipment, but since I am strong, a greatsword, greataxe, pole weapon, or greatshield would also be effective.
It would be great to attack aggressively with a greatsword and defend with two interchangeable greatshields for an impenetrable guard. Well, I would need to save up a considerable amount of money to do that, though.
Sharp weapons like greatswords and greataxes are more expensive than standard weapons like one-handed swords and spears. Since few people use them, they are often custom-made, which is why they are expensive.
I can probably make it up to the fifth floor by kicking. From there, I'll save up money and start collecting weapons little by little. I vowed to myself and was about to leave the shopping mall when I remembered something important and turned around.
I need to buy a backpack to store my loot in, otherwise I'd end up using my tracksuit as a wrapping cloth again. I was so relieved that I remembered before getting on the train back.
