Chapter 010
"Please be patient for a little longer. This is something you need, Yu-kun."
The attendant took out a tape measure from her pocket and quickly measured my size. She wrote the measurements on a note and handed it to my mother.
"Yes, you can go back now. Have your mother buy you a set and wear it at home. It's better than going into a women's clothing store as a man and turning into a naked woman."
"Thank you for your concern. I'll be heading back then."
I made a conscious effort to return to my male form and returned to being a man while wearing clothes. Then I summoned the doll and retrieved the bath towel. I handed it to the attendant and thanked her.
"This concludes the skill check. Since it's a newly discovered skill, there may be inquiries about it later. Well, it's a non-combat skill, so I think it'll be fine."
Non-combat skills are extremely diverse, and new skills are still appearing one after another. Apparently there were even skills that allowed you to cut the envelope without cutting the contents, and the ability to instantly distinguish between male and female bugs.
We returned to the waiting room and met up with my dad, who had been waiting for me. I said goodbye to attendant and left the office.
"It was an unexpected skill, but it's quite useful."
"If I put my uniform and casual clothes on a doll, I'll be able to get changed in the morning in no time. It'll be automatically purified and repaired, so there'll be no need to wash it."
Shortening the time it takes to change into my uniform in the morning, to change into casual clothes when I get home from school, and to change into pajamas at night will be a small but big convenience.
"The female body is also a good skill. I've got another daughter now."
"I'm so happy to be able to indulge myself to my Onee-chan as much as I want from now on."
I don't want to become a woman unless it's necessary, but with how excited my mother and Mai are, it doesn't seem like that will be allowed.
"Dad wants to see it soon too. Didn't you take a picture with your phone?"
"I didn't have any clothes. Dad, do you want to see your teenage daughter naked?"
Mom glared coldly at Dad from the passenger seat as he drove. It was spring, but it was like winter had come from the back.
"N-no, that's not it. I just wanted to see it soon because Mom and Mai were having fun."
Dad tried desperately to make excuses to break the situation. Perhaps it was worth it to spend almost the entire time on that until we got home, but Mom and Mai's cold gazes had softened to a slightly harsh level.
"I'll buy some clothes for Yu tomorrow morning. I'll have you wear them when I get home, so don't go out."
"I'm tired from staying up late today, so you don't have to hurry to buy them..."
"You can't go out, okay?"
"Yes."
I tried to resist, but I couldn't win against Mom. I needed it anyway, so I'll think positively that the unpleasant things will end soon.
