"Do you have everything? We're leaving!"
Today is the long-awaited day of the trip. I wake up early and get into the eight-seater magic stone car. The magic stone car, which does not use an engine and is powered by magic stone energy, starts moving silently.
"If you get hungry, tell me, I've got a bento for you."
"I'm looking forward to that. Mom's bento is delicious."
Since we're leaving early, I decided to eat the bento my mom made for breakfast. I thought it would be boring to eat at a convenience store, and it would be too early to go to a store.
"Do you have a salad, too, Onii-chan? I love those tomatoes!"
"I brought some cucumbers too. Yu-chan, where did you buy them from?"

I brought tomatoes and cucumbers home from the turtle hunt, and they were so popular that I started bringing them home every time. I couldn't tell them I picked them from the lost house's field, so I lied.
The car heads north on the national highway. There are highways in this world, but we won't use them this time. There's an interchange near our destination, which is convenient, but my dad, who doesn't usually drive, is hesitant to drive on the highway.
A truck passes us in the passing lane as we drive at the legal speed. There are many trucks along National Route 17, as there are industrial complexes scattered along the road.
"Onii-chan, this is Teisan Motors. It's big!"
"I wonder if they make trucks here."
Mai's eyes light up at the stores and factories along the road, and she's excited. I'm getting a little excited too. It's fun to see a different view than usual.
"Which way should we go...?"
"There are a lot of trucks over there, so let's take this one."
At the fork where the national highway splits into the old road and the bypass, we discussed it and chose the old road. There are a lot of trucks on the bypass, which is scary, and it seems more interesting to go through the city.
"I'm getting hungry. Let's take a break."
We stopped at a convenience store on the way and had breakfast. I felt bad just renting the parking lot, so I bought tea for everyone.
We opened our lunch boxes and ate together. There was even miso prepared for the cucumbers, so we added it and enjoyed it. I have to add miso to my stock at the lost house.
We ate everything and set off again. We ran parallel to the national railway tracks and headed north.
"Dad, that village isn't really a remote place, is it? Why haven't they decided on a new doctor?"
"Yeah, there's a dungeon nearby that village. Apparently, there's a level where special monsters appear, so no one wants to go."
I was able to find it right away by searching the place name. The village is near the 1999 dungeon, and special monsters appear there.
Normally, it would be a dungeon where you can get rare drops, but the monster that appears there are ghosts. Since it's a ghost, physical attacks don't work, and only those with magic skills can deal with it.
There are few people with magical skills, so normal parties are unable to defeat it, and there is nothing else special about it, so there is no advantage to going so far into Gunma, making it a deserted dungeon.
Since I only have physical attacks (officially), there seems to be no point in me going in, so I'll just take it easy with my family.
